Women's Language Features Used by a Woman Who Masquerades as a Man in Mulan (2020) Movie

This paper aimed to explore the use of women’s language features by a woman character who masquerades as man in Mulan (2020) movie. Two research questions were formulated. First, what women's are used movie? Second, does still while she man? study was qualitative and document analysis analyze data. observation checklist tables frequency comparison table help researchers categorize data for interpretation.  The results that showed percentage from Mulan’s utterances when played role 83.33% then decreased 58.82% man. The also gender roles society take part forming someone’s speech. decreasing point proved playing helped feel more confident state her ideas society.
